      Changing the Default Transfer Type on your Polycom Phone

      How to change your default transfer type from consultative to Blind.

      1. Press the Home button on your phone
      2. Select Settings
      3. Select Basic
      4. Select Preferences
      5. Select Default Transfer Type (scroll down to see)
      6. Press the PREFERRED transfer type and the press the Select button on your phone.
      Once you have changed the default transfer type, you can always toggle between transfer types by pressing and HOLDING the transfer button if you need to do the opposite of what your default is set to.  For example, if your default transfer type is a "blind transfer", while in a call, you can press and hold the transfer button and it will give you the option to do a consultative transfer for that specific call.
